Spouted beds are used in many physical and chemical processes that involve large particles (drying, combustion, film deposition, gasification, etc.). Understanding of bed hydrodynamics, coupled heat and mass transfer and chemical reaction phenomena is mandatory for designing, scaling up and optimizing spouted beds. In this work, a spouted bed reactor operating at high temperature has been modelled through one-dimensional model in which heat transfer has been carefully described at different levels of complexity. The process of coal gasification has been selected to demonstrate the models achievements and predictions have been compared to previous spouted bed reactor experimental results. Calculations have shown that a particular attention must be paid to describe heat transfer in spouted bed reactors operating at high temperature.  相似文献

多核超顺磁性Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4/SiO2催化载体的制备与表征   总被引:3,自引:2,他引:1  
采用化学共沉淀法与溶胶-凝胶法相结合, 在制备过程中改变磁性纳米粒子和TEOS的引入方式, 成功地制备了多核超顺磁性Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4/SiO2催化剂载体. 采用透射电子显微镜(TEM)、氮气吸附、X射线衍射(XRD)及物理性质综合测试系统(PPMS)对样品进行了表征, 利用永磁铁对载体的分离效果进行了验证. 研究结果表明, 改进制备方法后, 制备的载体比表面积明显增大, 这有利于催化剂在载体上的分散与固载; 样品的饱和磁化强度明显增加, 表明样品具有很好的磁响应能力, 有利于催化剂的分离, 同时, 载体的超顺磁特性也有利于液相催化体系中催化剂的分散.  相似文献

The behavior of plasma flow, generated by a D.C. plasma spraying gun, is simulated in a time-dependent 3 D. design. The high-temperature and high-velocity plasma plume is generated by a simple model based on Joule effect. The criterion of validation is the thermal efficiency while the only adjustment parameter is the length of the plasma column inside the anode. The transient plasma flow issuing in air atmosphere is reproduced. The plasma behavior is quite similar to that observed by fast-image video. Moreover, the centerline plasma plume properties are in agreement with experiment measurements, especially close to the torch exit and downstream the laminar-to-turbulent transition.  相似文献

The heat capacity and the enthalpy increments of strontium niobate Sr2Nb2O7 and calcium niobate Ca2Nb2O7 were measured by the relaxation time method (2–300 K), DSC (260–360 K) and drop calorimetry (720–1370 K). Temperature dependencies of the molar heat capacity in the form Cpm = 248.0 + 0.04350T − 3.948 × 106/T2 J K−1 mol−1 for Sr2Nb2O7 and Cpm = 257.2 + 0.03621T − 4.434 × 106/T2 J K−1 mol−1 for Ca2Nb2O7 were derived by the least-square method from the experimental data. The molar entropies at 298.15 K, Sm°(298.15 K) = 238.5 ± 1.3 J K−1 mol−1 for Sr2Nb2O7 and Sm°(298.15 K) = 212.4 ± 1.2 J K−1 mol−1 for Ca2Nb2O7, were evaluated from the low-temperature heat capacity measurements.  相似文献

Direct contact membrane distillation (DCMD) experiments using distilled water are reported. Influence on the process of feed and permeate flow rates through the cell has been investigated in a wide flow range, from 2 to 8 l/min. Two main effects have been studied, its effect on the heat transfer coefficient and on the effective membrane thickness. An empiric dependence of the membrane thickness with linear velocity through the cell has been included in the equation for mass flux through the membrane obtained from the “Dusty-Gas” model with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Gel layer formation on the membrane surface during filtration plays a significant role in membrane fouling that, in many instances, controls water production and energy consumption in the treatment of waters and wastewaters. In this study, alginate is selected as a model of the polysaccharides prevalent in wastewaters which, on membrane filtration, may form a gel on the membrane surface which subsequently limits filtrate throughput. We show that over the range of the applied pressures of 11.7–135 kPa considered here, constant pressure ultrafiltration of alginate follows the behavior of cake filtration. The material properties of the alginate are determined by the employment of the previously developed steady-state filtration approach. The consolidation of the gel layer is found to be controlled by the hydraulic flow resistance rather than the rearrangement of particles. Under these conditions, it is valid to apply the derived material properties for the quantification of both constant pressure and constant flux filtration. The gel layer formed from alginate is very compressible and far from uniform over its depth. Within the range of the applied pressures, the gel layer is very porous with a water content of more than 96% but very low Darcy permeability of less than 1 × 10−17 m2. During hollow fiber membrane filtration, the local flux is neither uniform nor constant along the fiber length, resulting in non-uniformity of the growth rate, the average porosity and the thickness of the gel layer. The non-uniformity is most apparent at the start of filtration and then gradually diminishes as the gel layer builds up with ongoing filtration.  相似文献

New anion exchange membranes are prepared by heat-treating the blend base membranes of chloroacetylated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenyleneoxide)(CPPO)/bromomethylated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (BPPO). A partially inter-crosslinked structure can be formed therein via a Friedel–Crafts reaction without adding any crosslinking reagent or catalyst. FT-IR and NMR analyses are used to confirm this inter-crosslinking structure and quantify the crosslinking distribution. Physical properties, such as toughness and thermal stability, are enhanced remarkably due to this heat treatment. Furthermore, the final membranes exhibit a high hydroxyl conductivity (up to 0.032 S cm−1 at 25 °C) and extremely low methanol permeability (1.26–1.04 × 10−7 cm2 s−1), which match the requirements for application in low temperature direct methanol alkaline fuel cells (DMAFCs).  相似文献

Which properties of an orbifold can we “hear,” i.e., which topological and geometric properties of an orbifold are determined by its Laplace spectrum? We consider this question for a class of four-dimensional Kähler orbifolds: weighted projective planes \(M := {\mathbb{C}}P^2(N_1, N_2, N_3)\) with three isolated singularities. We show that the spectra of the Laplacian acting on 0- and 1-forms on M determine the weights N 1, N 2, and N 3. The proof involves analysis of the heat invariants using several techniques, including localization in equivariant cohomology. We show that we can replace knowledge of the spectrum on 1-forms by knowledge of the Euler characteristic and obtain the same result. Finally, after determining the values of N 1, N 2, and N 3, we can hear whether M is endowed with an extremal Kähler metric.  相似文献
